The hike out of the rain forest was as we expected… long hard and at times never ending. But the people you met along the way, many who did it daily, were friendly and encouraging! We made our way to our evening village homestay through the rain and hail. Stoping for tea along the way to break up the journey. The village, boosted as the cleanest village in Meghalaya, were friendly and accomodating to our late arrival. A big thank you again to our trusted chefs, Chaman and Rajmal for a warm delicious meal after a long day.
